{"id":16247,"date":"2026-01-11T01:13:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T01:13:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/16247\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T01:13:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T01:13:06","slug":"dont-hate-us-learn-from-us-wike-tells-critics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/16247\/","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t hate us, learn from us, Wike tells critics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/guardian.ng\/opinion\/columnists\/wike-portrait-of-an-untouchable-genius\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike<\/a>, has urged his critics to learn from his political strategies rather than harbour resentment against him and his political associates.\n<\/p>\n<p>Wike also stressed that effective leadership requires openness to counsel, noting that a good leader must be willing to listen to advice that offers guidance and direction.\n<\/p>\n<p>He spoke on Saturday during a \u201cthank you\u201d visit to the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of <a href=\"https:\/\/guardian.ng\/opinion\/columnists\/ibas-and-the-retired-career-personnel-of-rivers-state-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Rivers State.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t hate us; learn from us. A bad leader is one who refuses to take advice.
