Namibia\u2019s Day 1 matchup against Germany revealed the intensity of 3&#215;3 Basketball. Namibia\u2019s Moses Fredericks rose to the challenge, contesting drives and staying active on the perimeter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI enjoyed the game and had a lot of fun,\u201d Moses said after the battle. Reflecting on his performance, he added, \u201cI feel good about my defense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 3&#215;3, where a single steal can turn into an immediate scoring chance, Moses\u2019 anticipation and footwork were crucial. Namibia came out on top, 13\u20133. Speaking on his team\u2019s chemistry, Moses shared, \u201cEven with the fast pace and physical play in 3&#215;3, we worked well together. Everyone knew their role on switches, and that\u2019s what kept us competitive against strong opponents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From Hope Village to the World Stage<\/p>\n<p>A student at M\u00f4reson Special School and a resident of Hope Village, Moses built his athletic foundation across several sports \u2013 soccer, volleyball, floorball, and basketball. His adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges make him a natural multi-sport athlete.<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"Image\" data-image-size=\"articleEnhancement\" alt=\"A player dribbles a ball on the court as onlookers watch, and his opponents surround him\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1767490930_95_.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>        In a tight game against Canada, Moses and his teammates came out on top, finishing the Canadians, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Moses traveled with the Brave Boys to Turin, Italy, for the Special Olympics World Winter Games as part of Special Olympics Namibia\u2019s national floorball team, gaining invaluable experience in international competition and learning to thrive under high-pressure conditions. During early training days in Namibia, Moses and his teammates practiced with homemade equipment, yet still finished fourth \u2013 a remarkable achievement that inspired fans and showcased their skill.<\/p>\n<p>Division 2 Final: Namibia vs. Italy<\/p>\n<p>On the final day of the 3&#215;3 Basketball World Cup, Namibia faced Italy in the Division 2 final. Italy came out firing with crisp drives and precise ball movement.
