<\/p>\nHon. George William Nyombi Thembo, the Executive Director of the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), has extended financial support of Shs 5 million to singer Dynaso Wegeso following a meeting over the suspension of his song \u201cMukube Paver.\u201d<\/p>\n
The meeting, which Dynaso attended alongside his lawyer and a few colleagues, focused on addressing concerns surrounding the song\u2019s message and exploring ways to revise it to promote positive and constructive values.<\/p>\n

During the discussions, Dynaso was advised to modify the lyrics, while retaining the original beat, to shift from content perceived as inciting violence to messaging that encourages productivity and social responsibility.<\/p>\n
UCC Executive Director also pledged support in promoting the revised version of the song and potentially backing a concert if the artist chooses to organize one.<\/p>\n
You can change the message in the song and keep the beats so that it encourages people to do constructive things that add value to their lives. We shall promote it here and even support a show if you plan one.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that the intention behind the suspension was not punitive but corrective, aimed at maintaining responsible content standards online.<\/p>\n
