width: 100%;\"\/>President William Ruto (third left) inspects the on-going construction works of the Marua Interchange in Nyeri County\/PCS<\/p>\n<p>President William Ruto on Monday inspected the ongoing&#13;<br \/>\nconstruction works of the Marua Interchange in Nyeri County.<\/p>\n<p>The Kenol\u2013Marua Dual Carriageway highway, which cuts across&#13;<br \/>\nthe agricultural heartlands of Murang&#8217;a, Kirinyaga and Nyeri, is now fully&#13;<br \/>\ntarmacked in several sections, with drainage and gabion works substantially&#13;<br \/>\ncompleted.<\/p>\n<p>Spanning key towns such as Makutano, Sagana and Karatina,&#13;<br \/>\nthe project includes modern interchanges and bridges to ease traffic flow and&#13;<br \/>\nenhance road safety, with the interchange now progressing well and at advanced&#13;<br \/>\nstages of completion.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside enhancing mobility, the project also supports community&#13;<br \/>\nempowerment and environmental restoration through skills training,&#13;<br \/>\ninstitutional capacity-building and tree-growing initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/a31d361d-b1b9-4473-ba64-b4255e0fc6b5.jpeg\" class=\"ui-draggable ui-draggable-handle\" style=\"max-width: 100%;
