{"id":20580,"date":"2026-01-13T11:07:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T11:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/20580\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T11:07:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T11:07:06","slug":"samuguah-foundation-supports-graphic-needy-fund-orphanage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/20580\/","title":{"rendered":"Samuguah Foundation supports Graphic Needy Fund, orphanage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Samugyah Praise Foundation has donated an unspecified sum to the Graphic Needy Trust Fund and the Happy Family Home Orphanage in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>The gesture is to complement efforts by the two beneficiary institutions to support vulnerable people, particularly those facing medical and social challenges.<\/p>\n<p>The proceeds were raised from the foundation\u2019s annual December gospel music event dubbed \u2018Samugyah Praise Concert\u2019, which raises funds specifically to assist the needy.<\/p>\n<p>The organisers channelled the revenue from the event to the beneficiary institutions to extend practical support to individuals who lack access to essential care and welfare services.<\/p>\n<p>Rationale<\/p>\n<p>Presenting the cheques, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Samugyah Praise Foundation, Stephen Amugyah, said the foundation was established in 2023 to give back to society.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the annual concert was therefore introduced as a platform for thanksgiving and for mobilising resources to support social interventions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a yearly programme that we organise to thank God for what He has done for us within the year, and then we raise funds to support the needy as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you look out there, there are a lot of people who are in need, and you have very few people supporting them.<\/p>\n<p>If we have some privilege or something small, we also try to support them so that they come out of their difficulties,\u201d he said.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gratitude<\/p>\n<p>The Management Accountant of GCGL, Albert Kungmaa Ziem, who accepted the donation on behalf of the company, expressed appreciation to the foundation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of Graphic Communications Group Limited, management and the directorate of Graphic, I want to thank Samugyah Praise Foundation for this excellent gesture,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Mr Ziem also highlighted the impact of the support on beneficiaries who struggle to meet basic health needs and assured the donors of accountability in the management of the funds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe funds we have received will be used strictly for the purpose for which they were donated, and we will share the outcomes with you to demonstrate that we are helping to achieve your objectives,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ziem called on other organisations and individuals to follow the example set by the foundation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose who have the ability should emulate such gestures so that everybody can enjoy a healthy life in this country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Needy Fund<\/p>\n<p>The Graphic Needy Fund (GNTF) is a charitable initiative by the Graphic Communications Group Ltd.
