developments during a meeting with Saudi Arabia\u2019s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, ahead of the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        The projects, he said, represent the most concrete outcome yet of Nigeria\u2019s policy to end the <a href=\"https:\/\/africa.businessinsider.com\/local\/markets\/africas-8-biggest-gold-discoveries-that-shaped-the-continents-mining-industry\/zlr7hm9\" id=\"2a8a476e-958e-441d-835d-828a9885a1de\" value-addition policy is already yielding tangible results, with a gold refining plant of very high purity now operational in Lagos, three additional gold refineries at various stages of development, licensing, and strengthened oversight of mineral exports, gradually bringing more of the sector under formal control to <a Nigeria\u2019s northwest and central regions, Abuja\u2019s strategy which involves combining security enforcement, value addition and foreign partnerships, offers a potential model for resource-rich
