{"id":22059,"date":"2026-01-14T03:52:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T03:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/22059\/"},"modified":"2026-01-14T03:52:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T03:52:07","slug":"jamb-announces-sale-of-2026-utme-direct-entry-forms-channels-television","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/22059\/","title":{"rendered":"JAMB Announces Sale Of 2026 UTME, Direct Entry Forms \u2022 Channels Television"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the sales of registration forms for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) admissions for the 2026\/2027 academic session.<\/p>\n<p>JAMB stated this in a post on its X handle on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"833\">\u201cUTME is open to suitably qualified candidates for admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions for the 2026\/2027 academic session,\u201d the photo statement signed by its Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, read.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"833\">\u201cRegistration commences January 2026 and closes March 2026 (exact dates to be announced by JAMB),\u201d the post read, disclosing that the UTME examination is scheduled to hold in April 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"833\">\u201cThe period of registration for UTME candidates, including those from foreign countries, is from Monday, 26th January, 2026 to Saturday, 28th February, 2026,\u201d the statement read in part.`<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"833\">READ ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.channelstv.com\/2025\/10\/16\/jamb-remains-sole-authorised-body-for-varsity-admission-fg-denies-scrapping-utme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u2018JAMB Remains Sole Authorised Body For Varsity Admission,\u2019 FG Denies Scrapping UTME<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE 2026 UTME\/DE CANDIDATES <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SZflLaoZH8\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/SZflLaoZH8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 JAMB (@JAMBHQ) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JAMBHQ\/status\/2011125980778414099?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">January 13, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to JAMB, candidates must have obtained their National Identification Number (NIN) before registration.<\/p>\n<p>The agency said, \u201cOnly candidates who will not be less than 16 years old by 30th September, 2026 are generally eligible to apply\/be considered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But it clarified that, \u201cCandidates less than 16 years old by 30th September, 2026 will have to undergo an intensive evaluation to determine their eligibility for a waiver.
