ODM member Kasmuel McOure had also sought to calm speculation around the whereabouts of Senator Oburu Oginga, saying the veteran politician is in good condition and that he had personally spoken to him earlier in the day.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a youth press briefing at Chungwa House in Nairobi, Kasmuel dismissed claims circulating online following Oburu\u2019s recent absence from public political engagements.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know that Oburu is well. We have spoken with him this morning. We know that he has the best interest for us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During the briefing, Kasmuel also criticised individuals he accused of attacking ODM leaders, including Oburu and ODM national chairperson Gladys Wanga, saying such conduct should stop.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a party, we will not walk with tribalists,\u201d he said. \u201cJust recently, they were calling our party leader a coward. The constant attacks on the person and leadership of our national chairperson, Gladys Wanga, must stop.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further said ODM youth members had launched a nationwide mobilisation drive aimed at strengthening the party ahead of future political realignments and the 2027 General Election, adding that the campaign would begin in Nairobi before expanding across the country.<\/p>\n
