The young girl passed away a day after bidding her parents a heartfelt goodbye during their New Year celebration.<\/p>\n
Her mother, Neema Meshack, painfully recounted her daughter’s last days and the activities she engaged in.<\/p>\n
Was Serahfina Godian Sick? Serahfina had been active and healthy, so when her mother reflects on the festive period, everything she did only made sense after her sudden passing.<\/p>\n
“My daughter was always healthy and full of life. I remember in late December 2025, she was lying on the bed and sparked a conversation with me about travelling abroad. She wasn’t sick, and she told me twice that we should relocate from Tanzania,” said the grieving mother. Read also<\/p>\n Nairobi woman who survived years of mistreatment, teenage motherhood, finds love again<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Neema said her daughter never explained why she wanted to leave, so she assumed the conversation was just a playful comment.<\/p>\n Why did Serahfina bid her parents goodbye? <\/p>\n On January 1, 2026, Neema said her family was together celebrating the New Year when her daughter made another strange comment.<\/p>\n She recalled that Serahfina had felt unwell that morning but suddenly became energetic and started playing around at midday.<\/p>\n \u201cShe told us she was going home while laughing. She said she was going to her father. When I asked her where she was at that moment, as we were all at home, she responded, ‘Home is a place of peace, home is a place of great joy,’ and then she bid us goodbye with a smile,\u201d said Neema.<\/p>\n The grieving mother recalled the panic and confusion on her and her husband\u2019s faces. Sadly, her condition worsened the following day.<\/p>\n Neema said they took her back to the hospital, where doctors ran several tests but couldn’t find anything wrong. They eventually opted for a CT scan, which revealed that she was suffering from severe pneumonia.<\/p>\n \u201cMy daughter showed no signs of pneumonia\u2014no coughing, nothing. There were subtle signs in December, but I ignored them. Serahfina had been preparing us for her departure, but we didn’t see it. God gave me her, and God took her back,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Despite accepting that her daughter was now in the hands of God, Neema shared that her death had deeply hurt her and broken her heart.<\/p>\n \u201cI have nothing much to say.
