Triumphant Team Kenya from the just concluded 46th World Cross Country Championship returned home on Tuesday night and early Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The first batch, which arrived on Tuesday night, was led by the 10km gold medallist Agnes Jebet Ng\u2019etich, who touched down shortly after 9pm, while the remaining two groups jet back early Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The team was received by the NOCK 1st Deputy President, Barnaba Korir.<\/p>\n
Kenya retained the overall title in the World Cross Country Championship held last Saturday in the USA for a third edition in a row, amassing 9 medals: three gold, four silver and two bronze.<\/p>\n
Agnes Jebet Ng\u00e9tich won her first gold and third\u00a0consecutive senior women\u2019s team title, while Frankline Kibet bagged gold in the 8 km under-20 category.<\/p>\n
