cracks widen within the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition.

The latest push came on Tuesday January 13 when seven affiliate parties formally demanded his immediate removal from all Azimio leadership positions.

The parties claim that Junet’s statements diminish former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy and place the opposition alliance in an awkward position.

In a joint statement, the parties said they were surprised by what they termed reckless and defamatory utterances attributed to the Minority Leader.

Suna East MP Junet defamatory utterances by some Azimio La Umoja–One Kenya officials, especially the one Hon Junet Mohamed,” the leaders stated.

They argued that such comments risk deepening divisions
