{"id":23732,"date":"2026-01-14T21:56:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T21:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/23732\/"},"modified":"2026-01-14T21:56:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T21:56:06","slug":"judicial-service-finance-ministry-summoned-ahead-of-jusag-strike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/23732\/","title":{"rendered":"Judicial Service, Finance Ministry summoned ahead of JUSAG strike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Labour Commission (NLC) has intervened in a looming industrial crisis in the judiciary, summoning the Judicial Service and the Ministry of Finance to a hearing.<\/p>\n<p>This follows a formal notice from the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) signalling its intention to strike over the unpaid eight-month salary arrears.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter dated January 14, 2026, signed by Acting Executive Secretary Dr Bernice A.
