{"id":237478,"date":"2026-05-16T13:09:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-16T13:09:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/237478\/"},"modified":"2026-05-16T13:09:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-16T13:09:11","slug":"apc-releases-full-list-of-disqualified-reps-aspirants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/237478\/","title":{"rendered":"APC releases full list of disqualified Reps aspirants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The All Progressives Congress has released a list of House of Representatives aspirants marked \u201cnot cleared\u201d across several states, including Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi and Rivers, ahead of its National Assembly primaries for the 2027 general elections.\n<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Saturday signed by National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the list formed part of the party\u2019s screening process, which determined eligibility for participation in the primaries across constituencies.\n<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, \u201cThe screening exercise was conducted by the Party\u2019s Screening Committees in line with established procedures and guidelines.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Here is the full list:<\/p>\n<p>ONDO STATE (Not cleared aspirants)<\/p>\n<p>The following aspirants were marked \u201cnot cleared\u201d:\n<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Adefisoye Tajudeen (Idanre\/Ifedore)\n<\/p>\n<p>Olusegun Victor Ategbole (Akoko South-East\/South-West)<\/p>\n<p>Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo (Akoko South-East\/South-West)\n<\/p>\n<p>Rt. Hon. Arowole Ayodeji Samuel (Owo\/Ose)\n<\/p>\n<p>Morufu Tosin Ibrahim (Akoko North-East\/North-West)\n<\/p>\n<p>Oseni Oyeniyi (Akoko North-East\/North-West)\n<\/p>\n<p>Olaleye John Adedipe (Akoko North-East\/North-West) <\/p>\n<p>BAUCHI STATE<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Bello (Darazo\/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency)\n<\/p>\n<p>EBONYI STATE<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Idu Igariwe (Afikpo\/Edda Federal Constituency)<\/p>\n<p>KOGI STATE<\/p>\n<p>Sanni Salau Ogembe (Okene\/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency)\n<\/p>\n<p>RIVERS STATE<\/p>\n<p>Air Commodore John Azubuike Opara (rtd) (Port Harcourt Federal Constituency)\n<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Anderson Allison Igbiki (Okrika\/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency)\n<\/p>\n<p>Awaji Imombek D. Abirite (Andoni\/Opobo-Nkoro Federal Constituency)\n<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Boma Goodhead (Asari-Toru\/Akuku-Toru Federal Constituency)\n<\/p>\n<p>The APC did not provide detailed explanations for the \u201cnot cleared\u201d status of the affected aspirants.\n<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in Katsina State, the Special Assistant on Girl Child Education and Development to Governor Dikko Radda, Jamila Mani, emerged <a href=\"https:\/\/punchng.com\/katsina-govs-aide-wins-mani-bindawa-apc-house-of-reps-primary\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">winner<\/a> of the APC primary for Mani\/Bindawa Federal Constituency.<\/p>\n<p>In Adamawa State, the House of Representatives\u2019 direct primaries were disrupted in several wards following the <a href=\"https:\/\/punchng.com\/apc-reps-primaries-yet-to-start-in-adamawa\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">absence of officials<\/a> expected to conduct the exercise.
