The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority has announced
\nthat\u00a0Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene dropped by Sh2, Sh1 and Sh1 per litre respectively. <\/p>\n
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene now retail at Sh182.52, Sh170.47 and Sh153.78, respectively, effective midnight for the next 30 days.<\/p>\n
Epra said the new fuel prices will take effect from January
\n15 to February 14, 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products which will be in force from 15th January 2026 to 14th February 2026,\u201d Epra said.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the December review, in Nairobi, motorists paid Sh184.52 for Super Petrol, Sh171.47 for Diesel, and Sh154.78 for Kerosene. \n<\/p>\n
\nPump prices in Mombasa were Sh18.24 for super petrol, Sh168.19 for diesel and Sh151.49 for kerosene.

\nSuper petrol retailed at Sh183.56 in Nakuru, with diesel going for Sh170.87 and kerosene Sh154.21.

\nIn Eldoret, the pump prices were Sh184.38 for super petrol, Sh171.68 for diesel and Sh155.03 for kerosene.

\nThe pump prices were Sh184.37 for super petrol, Sh171.68 for diesel and Sh155.03 for kerosene in Kisumu.
