His tournament was effectively ended when he had to be replaced by Mamadou Sarr because of injury.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas Jackson had fired over just before Senegal displayed more attacking intent. Habib Diarra and Pape Gueye also had efforts saved.<\/p>\n<p>Tensions boiled over when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/tag\/mohamed-salah\/\" target=\"_self\" class=\"gtm-add-suggested-tag\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mohamed Salah<\/a> fouled his former Liverpool teammate Man\u00e9, but Senegal coach Pape Thiaw and Egypt counterpart Hossam Hassan managed to cool tempers.<\/p>\n<p>Senegal\u2019s Habib Diarra was booked for arguing, however, meaning he will miss the final, too.<\/p>\n<p>Salah sent in a dangerous free kick that went through a host of players and out before the break. It was the closest the Pharaohs had gone to scoring.<\/p>\n<p>Senegal had 11 shots\u00a0\u2013 four on target\u00a0\u2013 by the time Man\u00e9 finally broke the deadlock.
