It will be led by Momentum Center Director Barbara Lee, together with Ish Mafundikwa, an internationally respected Zimbabwean journalist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ERWBMYCIOFDCHLG3GTEXWDEQ6Y\">\u201cThis experience is designed not just to see Zimbabwe, but to engage with its heart,\u201d Lee said. \u201cWith Ish\u2019s extraordinary depth of cultural knowledge and storytelling, participants will gain an intimate understanding of Zimbabwe\u2019s history, art, and everyday life. At the same time, their participation directly supports the Momentum Center\u2019s mission of building more inclusive and compassionate communities here at home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"4EVWIE3MUVAGXKOSXCFFRA32P4\">The cost of the trip is $4,750, not including international airfare. It will explore Zimbabwe\u2019s urban, rural and natural heritage through a curated itinerary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"JGW33BB4KZD7FFF4OIMLF4MAPY\">The journey features the sights of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Great Zimbabwe, a tour of Matobo National Park and an exploration of landmarks such as the Chiremba Balancing Rocks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"6RLIXKW3SNAPRAGQ43BX26MXGA\">Travelers will also enjoy traditional meals and cultural performances that foster learning, respect and connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"E2NI3IK5YZAWJDRCUVVMDO22YQ\">The itinerary concludes with a flight to Victoria Falls for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, an early morning safari, and an exploration of the rainforest and waterfall known locally as Mosi Oa Tunya\u2014The Smoke That Thunders. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"55DMANETCZEI7G6PBX2XFKYEZE\">Before returning home, participants will visit Mbare Musika, one of Zimbabwe\u2019s most vibrant open-air markets, for souvenir shopping and a deeper understanding of urban life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"LGOSKRR2GFC4ZHS4R6NA2J7M2Y\">A $100 deposit is required by Jan. 31, 2026, to secure a reservation.
