{"id":28468,"date":"2026-01-17T04:25:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-17T04:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/28468\/"},"modified":"2026-01-17T04:25:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-17T04:25:10","slug":"uganda-childrens-choir-to-visit-texarkana-next-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/28468\/","title":{"rendered":"Uganda children&#8217;s choir to visit Texarkana next week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TEXARKANA, Texas &#8212; A Ugandan children&#8217;s choir with the nonprofit Music for Life soon will visit the area, bringing music, cultural exchange and connection to local communities.<\/p>\n<p>The African Children&#8217;s Choir is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. Jan. 23 at Mount Orange Baptist Church. Admission is free.<\/p>\n<p>The group includes 17 children from Uganda, ages 8 to 10. Local families host group members in their homes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our mission statement is helping Africa&#8217;s most vulnerable children so they help Africa tomorrow,&#8221; Music for Life Choir Manager Tina Sipp said. &#8220;The children will get to tour 25 states.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The African Children&#8217;s Choir is part of a larger, international Christian organization called Music for Life.
