We&#8217;re taking over the city,&#8221; fan Christian said.The crowds included supporters who traveled from Argentina and others who made the trip from countries around the globe.For many, the passion surrounding Argentina&#8217;s national team is difficult to explain.&#8221;There&#8217;s no word to explain what we feel about Argentina,&#8221; another fan said. &#8220;It&#8217;s like something you have to feel. Like the singing, people from all over the world.&#8221;Fans arrived in Kansas City by plane, car and nearly every other means imaginable.One supporter even made the journey with a replica World Cup trophy after spending six months traveling to get here.&#8221;Six months, six months,&#8221; the fan said.The gathering turned parts of Kansas City into a preview of what fans can expect throughout the World Cup, with supporters singing, chanting and celebrating their team just hours before kickoff.As for how Argentina will perform in the tournament, supporters did not seem to have much doubt.
