Arrangements are in top gear for the marriage ceremony of nine children of the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle.<\/p>\n
The invitation card for the event, which has circulated widely on social media, was sighted by our correspondent on Saturday.<\/p>\n
According to the invitation, which has the minister\u2019s picture, the weddings will hold at the Central Mosque, Abuja, by 1:30 pm on February 6.<\/p>\n
The names of the children are: Ibrahim, Suraj, Safiya, Maryam, Aisha, Fahad, Muh\u2019d, Nana Firdausi, and Farida.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Sunday PUNCH on Saturday, the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress in Zamfara State, Yusuf Idris, said the children comprise five sons and four daughters.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cBy the grace of God, the ceremony will be conducted at the Abuja Central Mosque on February 6. I also want to say that the minister\u2019s children who are getting married are five sons and four daughters.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am among the committee members for this great occasion, and as I speak to you now, arrangements have reached an advanced stage to ensure a smooth ceremony in Abuja next month.\u201d<\/p>\n
