Bannerman Energy<\/a> (ASX:BMN) has reported that construction at its Etango Uranium Project in Erongo, Namibia, remains on budget and schedule.<\/p>\n

The contractor workforce has exceeded 560 personnel and achieved 1.1 million lost\u2011time injury\u2011free hours.<\/p>\n

Bulk earthworks are approximately 92% complete, focusing on the freshwater pond, wet plant terraces, and heap leach pad. Production of heap leach drainage aggregate continues, with approximately 29% of total requirements completed.<\/p>\n

Concrete construction is advancing across key dry plant infrastructure areas, with 10,800m\u00b3 of concrete cast, representing approximately 60% of phase one and phase 2A packages.<\/p>\n

CEO Gavin Chamberlain says the bulk earthworks contract is now more than 90% complete, a key achievement in \u201cde-risking the critical path for full\u2011scale construction\u201d.<\/p>\n

The company achieved one million lost\u2011time injury\u2011free hours during May 2026, extending Bannerman\u2019s unbroken 17\u2011year safety record. Four Namibian contractors deliver earthworks, civil construction, aggregate production, and infrastructure works across the site.<\/p>\n

Civil and mechanical design for the dry plant stands at approximately 94% complete, aligning with schedule requirements for construction drawings.<\/p>\n

Wet plant design remains on schedule for issuing construction drawings later this year, with detailed engineering approximately 28% complete.<\/p>\n

Bannerman executed a permanent water supply agreement with NamWater in early June 2026, covering supply for the initial Etango\u20118 development. The project targets an average production of 3.5 million pounds of uranium<\/a> oxide annually for 15 years.<\/p>\n

Phase one of the permanent water supply pipeline is approximately 87% complete. The company also signed a definitive power supply agreement with NamPower, with the detailed design of the dedicated feeder bay progressing.<\/p>\n

Bannerman Energy<\/a> expects to appoint the engineering, procurement, and construction management consultant in Q3 2026.<\/p>\n

All contractors on site are Namibian businesses, including early works undertaken by local small and medium enterprises.<\/p>\n
