Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress in the 2027 election, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have congratulated the party\u2019s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday.\n<\/p>\n
The goodwill messages were shared on their respective Facebook pages on Sunday.\n<\/p>\n
The African Democratic Congress presidential candidate described Obi as a brother and commended his commitment to public service and Nigeria\u2019s democratic development.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cI warmly congratulate my dear brother, HE Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday. I celebrate his remarkable journey, steadfast commitment to public service, and contributions to our democracy.<\/p>\n
\u201cMay the years ahead bring him renewed strength, wisdom, good health, and fulfilment. Happy birthday, Peter,\u201d Atiku wrote.\n<\/p>\n
Kwankwaso also hailed the former Anambra State governor, describing him as a leader of integrity, humility and conviction.\n<\/p>\n

Obi and Kwankwaso finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 2023 presidential election, behind President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku, who was then the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.<\/p>\n
