The patent establishes a comprehensive IP position designed to provide meaningful commercial exclusivity as the company progresses its psychedelic medicine development programs.<\/p>\n
This forms part of Entropy\u2019s broader IP strategy, which aims to secure protection across key therapeutic indications and jurisdictions to maximise long-term commercial value of its psychedelic medicine platform and partnering opportunities.<\/p>\n
The company has a growing global IP portfolio supporting development of its IV-infused psilocin TRP-8803 for large unmet medical needs.<\/p>\n
Fibromyalgia a significant unmet need<\/p>\n
Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder characterised by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sleep disturbance and cognitive impairment.<\/p>\n
The condition affects millions of people globally and remains an area of significant unmet medical need, with currently available therapies providing limited efficacy for many patients.<\/p>\n
The South African fibromyalgia treatment market was valued at US$1.9bn in 2025, representing another potential market opportunity for the company.<\/p>\n

CEO Mr Jason Carroll said the patent represented another important addition to Entropy’s growing IP portfolio and significantly strengthened its position in fibromyalgia<\/p>\n
