Two people were killed and two others were transported to hospital following a suspected taxi-related shooting on Boundary Road in Oakdene on August 3.<\/p>\n
The scene remains active as Moffat View SAPS and forensic investigators continue processing the area.<\/p>\n
Multiple emergency services, including Netcare 911, ER24, CPS Security and other private security companies, responded to the incident.<\/p>\n
Police have cordoned off sections of Boundary Road while investigations continue. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes as emergency personnel remain on scene.<\/p>\n
Moffat View SAPS Station Commander Colonel Shunny Govender confirmed that the shooting is believed to be taxi-related.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe incident is believed to be taxi-related. Two people were declared dead at the scene, while two injured victims were transported to hospital. Investigations are ongoing,\u201d said Govender.<\/p>\n
The motive for the shooting is under investigation, and no arrests had been made at the time of publication.<\/p>\n
