Rabat \u2013 Moroccan kickboxer Ambar Tesoudali has won the gold medal at the 2026 ISKA China Open and World Elite Invitational in Sanya, China.<\/p>\n
The 14-year-old topped her category after several days of competition against athletes from around the world, adding another international title to her growing list of achievements.<\/p>\n
The tournament tested more than just her performances in the ring. Tesoudali said she had to deal with last-minute schedule changes, uncertainty over fight times, and hours of waiting before the final.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was not my best fight, but I showed that I can stay focused and find a way when things become difficult,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Despite those challenges, she did enough to secure the title.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very happy to bring this gold medal home, but I know I can perform better. This victory motivates me to keep improving and working harder,\u201d Tesoudali said.<\/p>\n
The official medal ceremony will be held on Sunday in Sanya, where she will receive her ISKA China Open 2026 gold medal.<\/p>\n
The young Moroccan said the result was made possible by the people who stood behind her throughout the competition. She thanked her family, coaches, training partners and sponsors for their support during her journey to the title.<\/p>\n
Tesoudali will remain in China for a few days before returning home with the gold medal.<\/p>\n
