{"id":384639,"date":"2026-08-18T22:44:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T22:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/384639\/"},"modified":"2026-08-18T22:44:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T22:44:08","slug":"obituary-haugh-eugene-wayne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/384639\/","title":{"rendered":"Obituary: Haugh, Eugene Wayne"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">Wayne Eugene Haugh, 93, of Cairo, WV, departed this life Aug. 15, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was born April 14, 1933, at Gillespie, Ritchie County, WV the son of the late Harley M. and Lelia Margaret Michaels Haugh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Wayne was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for 35 years as a production Foreman at Dupont before retiring. He was the former owner of Country Trails Bike Shop in Cairo and worked with his son at David\u2019s Backhoe Service. He was a member of Cairo Masonic Lodge #114 AF&amp;AM. He loved fishing, racing, woodworking, horses and dogs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He is survived by children, David Haugh (Sherry) of Harrisville, Brenda Sue Nichols of Harrisville, Gary Haugh (Debra) of Cairo, Daughter-in-law Joyce Haugh of Cairo and Mark Haugh (Barbara) of Cairo; grandchildren, Amy Vannoy (Keith), Ryan Haugh (Anna), Teresa Nicholson (Terry), Mindy Keith (Bobby), Becky Haugh, Greg Haugh, Chance Haugh (Heather), Jessica Cooper (Adam), and Jaccie Haugh (Camryn Duncan); seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eva Nell \u201cPeg\u201d Haugh; son, James Michael Haugh; great granddaughter, Carlie Janelle \u201cCJ\u201d McIntosh; brother Rondall Haugh; and sister, Patricia Morgan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Wayne will be cremated according to his wishes.
