Located just outside Buffalo and spanning 12 miles of scenic Lake Erie shoreline, Evans offers a variety of ways to enjoy the remaining weeks of summer. Bennett Beach, Sturgeon Point Marina, local parks, trails, and other waterfront areas provide opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking, biking, hiking, and enjoying time along the lake. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe season doesn\u2019t end in August, and there is still a lot happening throughout Evans and Angola,\u201d said Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) Chair Val Stonitsch. \u201cOur waterfront, local businesses, parks, and community events give people plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the area even through the Fall season.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Town recently launched Explore Evans-Angola<\/a>, a visitor resource designed to make it easier to find local attractions, outdoor recreation, dining, waterfront access, and other things to do throughout the community. The site provides both visitors and residents with a centralized place to discover local destinations and plan an outing.<\/p>\n

The community has also remained active throughout the summer, with events ranging from live music at Sturgeon Point Marina, Lake Erie Beach to family and community activities. Upcoming events include the town-wide Angola-on-the-Lake Fall Music Festival on October 2nd and 3rd. The Town\u2019s online community events calendar also provides an up-to-date listing of events and activities taking place throughout Evans and Angola. <\/p>\n
