Jessica Mbalu and your family on this&#13;<br \/>\npainful loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies and that of my family,\u201d&#13;<br \/>\nGachagua said.<\/p>\n<p>He also paid tribute to the late Justice Mbalu, wishing him&#13;<br \/>\neternal rest and praying for perpetual light to shine upon him.<\/p>\n<p>Gachagua\u2019s visit came as Members of Parliament from both the&#13;<br \/>\nSenate and National Assembly continued to visit Mbalu\u2019s home in Karen to offer&#13;<br \/>\ntheir condolences to the bereaved family.<\/p>\n<p>The lawmakers began arriving at the residence on Wednesday&#13;<br \/>\nafternoon, according to a statement from Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>The MPs were led by Deputy Leader of the Minority Party&#13;<br \/>\nRobert Mbui and Nyandarua Senator John Methu, who joined colleagues in offering&#13;<br \/>\nsupport to the Kibwezi East legislator.<\/p>\n<p>During the visits, Mbalu thanked members, parliamentary&#13;<br \/>\nstaff and the leadership of Parliament for taking time to comfort her family&#13;<br \/>\nduring the difficult period.<\/p>\n<p>The lawmakers described the late Justice Mbalu as a strong&#13;<br \/>\nfamily man and a distinguished jurist who served with dedication.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Mbalu served in the Judiciary and was remembered by&#13;<br \/>\nthe lawmakers who visited the family for his contribution to the legal&#13;<br \/>\nprofession and his commitment to service.<\/p>\n<p>The family is expected to hold a requiem Mass in honour of&#13;<br \/>\nthe late judge on Wednesday, September 2, at St John the Evangelist Parish in&#13;<br \/>\nKaren.<\/p>\n<p>The requiem Mass will be followed by the funeral ceremony on&#13;<br \/>\nFriday, September 4, in Kibwezi, Makueni County, according to Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>The visits by MPs and Gachagua come as the family prepares&#13;<br \/>\nto lay the late judge to rest, with leaders offering messages of sympathy and&#13;<br \/>\nsupport to Mbalu and her family.<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/231f1a41-5385-45f8-b656-59d0d2bd68e6.webp\" style=\"max-width: 100%;
