Casablanca \u2013 Moroccan winger Couhaib Driouech has expressed his excitement after completing his move to Spanish side Celta Vigo, describing his arrival as an opportunity to become part of a club he has heard positive things about.<\/p>\n

Driouech joined Celta from PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday after the two clubs reached an agreement<\/a> over a transfer reportedly worth \u20ac7 million. The Moroccan has signed a contract running until 2030.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Celta\u2019s official website, the 24-year-old said he was eager to get started with his new team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy to be here. I\u2019m excited to play for Celta. I\u2019ve heard very good stories about the club, and I\u2019m happy to be part of this family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Driouech also promised to give his full effort for the club and the city as he begins his first professional chapter outside the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll try to give my best and do everything I can for the club and for the colors of the city. I hope we can achieve great things together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The move brings an end to Driouech\u2019s career in the Netherlands, where he developed through spells with Excelsior Rotterdam and SC Heerenveen before joining PSV.<\/p>\n

At PSV, the winger established himself as an attacking option capable of operating on either flank, although he primarily plays on the left.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Driouech enjoyed a productive 2025-26 campaign, making 40 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists across competitions.<\/p>\n

He also gained valuable Champions League experience, featuring in 12 matches and registering four goals and two assists. One of his standout performances came against Liverpool, when he scored twice and was named player of the match.<\/p>\n

Celta believe <\/a>his versatility and attacking qualities will add further options to Claudio Gir\u00e1ldez\u2019s squad as the club prepares for the new La Liga campaign.<\/p>\n
