and &#8220;deplorable behaviour,&#8221; the king said in a palace statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Once the passion and emotions have subsided, inter\u2011African fraternity will naturally prevail,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nothing can undermine the close ties forged over the centuries between our African peoples, nor the fruitful cooperation built with countries across the continent and strengthened by increasingly ambitious partnerships,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament had also <a data-testid=\"Link\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/sports\/soccer\/morocco-banish-any-doubts-about-ability-host-2030-world-cup-2026-01-19\/\" class=\"text-module__text__0GDob text-module__inherit-color__PhuPF text-module__inherit-font__1P1hv text-module__inherit-size__EyiQW link-module__link__INqxZ link-module__underline_default__-okuC\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">showcase<\/a>d Morocco&#8217;s development and represented &#8220;a success for all of Africa,&#8221;
