Four people are feared to have drowned. One body has been recovered and search and rescue\/recovery operations for the others are ongoing,\u201d the Kenya Red Cross said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.8;\">&#13;<br \/>\nThe rescue effort involves several agencies, including the Nakuru County Disaster Management team, local fishermen and the Kenya Coast Guard.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.8;\">&#13;<br \/>\nReports indicate the fishermen are middle-aged men, with two believed to be brothers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.8;\">&#13;<br \/>\nThe incident occurred near Kihoto in Naivasha, under challenging lake conditions that have previously contributed to similar accidents. Authorities, including the sub-county commissioner, are coordinating the ongoing search and recovery operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.8;\">&#13;<br \/>\nLake Naivasha has recorded multiple drowning incidents in recent years, often linked to unregistered boats, unsafe fishing practices and rough waters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.8;\">&#13;<br \/>\nIn a previous incident in the Malewa area, five fishermen were involved in a similar accident; two were rescued, while the others drowned.
