Algerian international Yacine Titraoui suffered a major setback right at the start of his stint with the French club Lens.<\/p>\n
Medical exams revealed that he has a knee tendon injury, which will keep him off the field for some time.<\/p>\n
A product of the Athletic Paradou youth academy, he attracted attention immediately upon his arrival at Lens, after playing four matches with the team.<\/p>\n
Titraoui had delivered performances that earned him the attention of the French media, before his promising start was cut short during the match against Lorient last Saturday.<\/p>\n
He was forced to leave the field in the 60th minute due to the injury.<\/p>\n
The newspaper \u201cLa Voix du Nord\u201d reported that the Algerian national team player will be sidelined until after the next international break.<\/p>\n
This means that, based on current information, he will not return to competition before October 7.<\/p>\n
The Bordj Bou Arreridj native will therefore be unable to play in his historic first Champions League match, as he will miss the kickoff of Lens\u2019s campaign in the competition against Slavia Prague next Thursday, thus postponing his dream of making his debut in Europe\u2019s most prestigious tournament.<\/p>\n
