he said, adding that consumer inflation for the first six months of the year was expected to be broadly aligned within the bank&#8217;s medium-term target range, while growth was expected to remain strong in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Consumer inflation has fallen sharply from a record rate of 54.1% in December 2022 to 5.4% in <a data-testid=\"Link\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/africa\/ghana-consumer-inflation-slows-54-year-year-december-2026-01-07\/\" class=\"text-module__text__0GDob text-module__inherit-color__PhuPF text-module__inherit-font__1P1hv text-module__inherit-size__EyiQW link-module__link__INqxZ link-module__underline_default__-okuC\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">December 2025<\/a>.
