Tambo<\/a>) is expanding its fleet with a pre-owned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-data\/ER4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">E145<\/a>, three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-data\/CNC\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cessna (single turboprop)<\/a> 208B Grand Caravans, and a spare engine, citing strong demand driven by South Africa\u2019s tourism growth, particularly in the luxury safari segment.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion is being financed through a strategic partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/entities\/INVS\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Investec Aviation Finance<\/a>, which has restructured and upsized a senior revolving credit facility originally extended to the airline in 2023, the companies said in a joint statement.<\/p>\n<p>Federal Airlines, colloquially known as FedAir, will use the facility to refinance the acquisition of the E145, one Cessna C208B, and the spare engine, and to secure delivery financing for two additional new C208Bs scheduled for delivery in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>FedAir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/news\/155476-fastjet-group-expands-footprint-fastjet-zim-eyes-growth\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">already operates a fleet<\/a> of ten Cessna C208 Caravans (including seven C208B EX Grand Caravans), four <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-data\/PL2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PC-12<\/a>s (including two PC12NGs), two E145s wet-leased to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airlines\/FZW\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fastjet Zimbabwe<\/a>, and two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/BCH190D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Beech 1900D<\/a>s. <\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2004, FedAir operates premium point-to-point shuttle and charter services for business and leisure travellers, serving destinations including the Kruger National Park and several private game reserves, including Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Thornybush Game Reserve, Madikwe Game Reserve, Londolozi Game Reserve, and Marakele National Park.<\/p>\n<p>The fleet move comes as South Africa\u2019s tourism sector gains momentum.
