According to the statement, these connections require both nations to work together responsibly to safeguard peace, security, and stability in the Horn of Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"relative group\">The government emphasized that any cooperation or agreements Ethiopia enters into with other parties are not directed against Somalia and do not undermine Somalia\u2019s sovereignty or territorial integrity. Addis Ababa categorically rejected interpretations or claims suggesting otherwise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"relative group\">The statement noted that Ethiopia believes misunderstandings and differences between neighboring countries must be addressed through dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual consultation, warning that escalatory rhetoric and actions do not serve the interests of either country or the wider region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"relative group\">The Ethiopian government reiterated its readiness to engage constructively with the Federal Government of Somalia in order to clarify concerns, strengthen bilateral relations, and enhance cooperation in areas of shared interest.
