{"id":80805,"date":"2026-02-12T22:06:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T22:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/80805\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T22:06:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T22:06:06","slug":"gunman-jumps-out-sprays-man-dead-in-rugby","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/80805\/","title":{"rendered":"Gunman jumps out, sprays man dead in Rugby"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 35-YEAR-OLD man was gunned down in broad daylight in Rugby on Thursday after a gunman jumped out of a light blue Ford Fiesta and opened fire before speeding off.<\/p>\n<p>Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said that Milnerton police have registered a murder case for investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Twigg reported: \u201cMilnerton police registered a murder case for investigation following a shooting incident on Thursday afternoon, 12 February 2026, at about 12:40, in Albow Street, Rugby, where a 35-year-old male was shot and fatally wounded.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to reports the victim was walking in the street, when a light blue Ford Fiesta stopped next to him.
