Police are investigating an incident where a man was found dead in his car in the Mirema area, Kasarani, Nairobi.<\/p>\n
The family of the deceased, identified as Kevin Onoka, said he arrived home on Sunday night and told them he was resting in the car. <\/p>\n
He reportedly locked the car and went to sleep.<\/p>\n
On Monday morning, he was found unresponsive in the vehicle, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers who were called to the scene said his body was found on the driver\u2019s seat with no visible injuries. <\/p>\n
Police had to break into the car to reach him and suspect suffocation may have occurred.<\/p>\n
The body was moved to a mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.<\/p>\n
13-year-old girl drowns in Nyando River<\/p>\n
A 13-year-old girl drowned in the Nyando River in Geyo village, Chemelil, Kisumu County, on Monday evening.<\/p>\n
Family members said the girl went to the river with others to swim. The river, which drains into Lake Victoria, was reported to be swollen at the time.<\/p>\n
According to the family and police, an alarm was raised, and the girl\u2019s body was later retrieved from the water. It was taken to a local mortuary pending further procedures.<\/p>\n
Decomposed body found in Mau Narok<\/p>\n
Police discovered the decomposed body of a man in his house in Mau Narok, Nakuru County. <\/p>\n
The man, identified as Joseph Kimani, 32, had been missing since December 25, 2025.<\/p>\n
Neighbours alerted police after noticing a foul smell coming from the house. <\/p>\n
Officers said they broke into the house and found the body hanging on a truss with a rope around the neck.<\/p>\n
The motive for the death is under investigation. <\/p>\n
