It said the results were based on \u201ca more stable macro environment and local currencies,\u201d singling out Nigeria, where inflation has stabilized, for \u201cstandout performance.\u201d Jumia, whose years-long pursuit of a leaner business saw it close shop in South Africa and Tunisia in 2024, expects to grow sales volumes by up to 32% this year, attaining positive cash flow in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Africa\u2019s digital commerce scene faces <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/chinese-retailer-temu-storms-nigeria-143723399.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:increased competition;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">increased competition<\/a> from the entry of Temu and Shein.
