Detectives in Migori and Nairobi are investigating a string of violent incidents that

In Kehancha, Kuria, in Migori county,
\npolice are looking for gunmen who shot and wounded a man and his 10-year-old
\ndaughter during a robbery.<\/p>\n

The victims had just closed their
\nbusinesses Saturday evening in Kwiriba area, when they were confronted by armed men.<\/p>\n

The father was shot in the stomach
\nwhile his daughter sustained a gunshot wound to the hand.<\/p>\n

The attackers grabbed three mobile
\nphones used for M-Pesa transactions and fled.<\/p>\n

Police suspect the gang had been
\ntracking the victims from their shop to their home.<\/p>\n

Detectives revisited the area on
\nSunday and Monday, recovering spent AK-47 cartridges, highlighting concerns
\nabout a possible surge in armed crime in the region.<\/p>\n

In Lang\u2019ata, Nairobi,
\npolice are investigating a domestic dispute that ended in tragedy.<\/p>\n

A 20-year-old man allegedly stabbed
\nhis father, Joseph Okello, 70, to death over a disagreement regarding the
\npreparation of ugali. Witnesses said the father questioned his son\u2019s method of
\ncooking.<\/p>\n

The confrontation escalated into
\nviolence when the son allegedly used a knife to stab his father multiple times
\nin the back and neck, killing him on the spot.<\/p>\n

Police report said the suspect fled
\nimmediately and they are pursuing
\nhim .<\/p>\n

Adding to the grim events, a man
\nidentified as Richard Wanjiru, 33, died in a fire in Mowlem, Nairobi, early
\nSunday morning.<\/p>\n

Wanjiru, a member of the street
\nfamily, had been sheltering in a house when the fire broke out.<\/p>\n

The cause of the blaze is yet to be
\ndetermined and authorities have moved the body to the mortuary pending further
\ninvestigations.<\/p>\n

These incidents, spanning armed
\nrobbery, domestic violence, and accidental death, underscore mounting concerns
\nover safety and public security.<\/p>\n

Police have intensified
\ninvestigations, calling for vigilance from residents while pledging to bring
