Calm mornings gave way to a gentle one-club wind in the afternoons, adding an extra layer of challenge and making the contest both thrilling and memorable.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Zwiebel and Neil Salt (11) emerged as champions of this year\u2019s tournament. Their victory emphasised the event\u2019s mission to combine experienced golfing talent with rising young players, fostering the development of amateur golf in Namibia and encouraging young talent to compete at the highest levels.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its seventh year under Nedbank\u2019s sponsorship, the Desert Classic has become a cornerstone of Namibia\u2019s golf calendar, attracting players of all ages and skill levels.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament\u2019s commitment to developing young talent was evident in this year\u2019s results.<\/p>\n<p>Nedbank spokesperson Gernot de Klerk says: \u201cIt reflects who we are as Nedbank Namibia. We believe in creating opportunity, supporting our communities, and investing in the future.
