Geehrt werden soll mit diesem auch der ehemalige Managing Director Alain Vallet, der ein Very Special Old \u201ePal\u201c gewesen sein soll.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spirituosen-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/lazy-dodo-vsop-mood.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/afrika\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/lazy-dodo-vsop-mood-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Lazy Dodo VSOP\" class=\"wp-image-155175\" title=\"Lazy Dodo VSOP\"  \/><\/a>Bild: Grays Distilling<\/p>\n<p>Gereift in drei Fasssorten<\/p>\n<p>Der Lazy Dodo VSOP, ein Single Estate Rum, wird in gewohnter Manier aus der Melasse des Zuckerrohrs von den Brennerei-eigenen Feldern in Pamplemousses gewonnen. Nach einer nat\u00fcrlichen Fermentation \u00fcber zw\u00f6lf bis 24 Stunden wird auf einer Column Still destilliert. F\u00fcr die rein tropische Reifung, deren Dauer mit sechs bis acht Jahre angegeben wird, kommen French-Oak-Casks, Ex-Bourbon-Casks und Ex-Peated-Whisky-Casks zum Einsatz. Nach der Verm\u00e4hlung wird mit einem Alkoholvolumen von 40 Prozent und zusammen mit 13,6 Gramm Zucker pro Liter abgef\u00fcllt. Der Geschmack sei angenehm nach kandierter Orange, Rauch und leichtem Torf. Zum Abgang hin Zimt, Zitrus und reichlich Frische. Im Abgang w\u00fcrden die Sanftheit, tropische Ankl\u00e4nge und rauchige Noten dominieren.<\/p>\n<p>Jetzt erh\u00e4ltlich<\/p>\n<p>Ab sofort kann der Lazy Dodo VSOP im gut sortierten Fachhandel in Deutschland erworben werden.
