Er war laut AFP auf dem Rollfeld des Flughafens von Kinshasa anwesend, wo die \u00fcber 16&#8217;000 Dosen per Flugzeug angeliefert wurde.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph text-standard wrap-break-word text-dark-gray font-thesans w-full\">Die Internationale Koordinierungsgruppe f\u00fcr Impfstoffbereitstellung (ICG) hat insgesamt 70&#8217;000 Dosen des Impfstoffs Ervebo freigegeben. Der Stoff ist f\u00fcr den Einsatz bei Ausbr\u00fcchen der Ebola-Viruskrankheit (fr\u00fcher Zaire-Ebolavirus genannt) zugelassen und empfohlen. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph text-standard wrap-break-word text-dark-gray font-thesans w-full\">Nach Angaben von Africa CDC sollen 20&#8217;000 Dosen f\u00fcr eine klinische Studie zur Untersuchung der Wirkung des Impfstoffs auf das Bundibugyo-Virus sowie 50&#8217;000 Dosen f\u00fcr medizinisches Fachpersonal und andere Einsatzkr\u00e4fte eingesetzt werden. Noch ist nicht bekannt, ob Ervebo Menschen vor dem Bundibugyo-Virus sch\u00fctzt. Erste Labor- und Tierversuchsdaten deuten jedoch auf einen m\u00f6glichen Schutz hin. Die Studie soll wichtige neue Erkenntnisse liefern.<\/p>\n<p>Ausbruch \u00abnoch lange nicht unter Kontrolle\u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph text-standard wrap-break-word text-dark-gray font-thesans w-full\">Mehr als 5000 Krankheitsf\u00e4lle und etwa 2500 Tote in rund 100 Tagen \u2013 das ist die aktuelle Bilanz des Ebola-Ausbruchs in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo. Der Chef der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus fand k\u00fcrzlich klare Worte: \u00abDie Epidemie ist noch lange nicht unter Kontrolle. Dies ist nun der zweitgr\u00f6sste jemals verzeichnete Ebola-Ausbruch, und er breitet sich schneller aus als jeder vorherige.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph text-standard wrap-break-word text-dark-gray font-thesans w-full\">Ebola-Fieber ist eine lebensbedrohliche Krankheit.
