The pharmaceutical sector has been identified as a key driver for Ghana\u2019s industrial transformation and the creation of decent jobs. Building on this momentum, the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) are co-financing the programme \u201cStrengthening the Ghanaian Pharmaceutical and Vaccine Manufacturing Industry\u201d (PharmaVax Ghana) under the Team Europe Initiative on Manufacturing and Access to Vaccines, Medicines and Health Technologies in Africa (MAV+).
