According to an official statement from the\u00a0Ethiopian Investment Commission, Ethiopia signed\u00a0$13.1\u202fbillion\u00a0in investment agreements on\u00a0March\u202f27\u202f2026\u00a0at the\u00a0Invest in Ethiopia\u00a0conference in Addis Ababa. The deals span renewable energy, manufacturing, real estate, mining and green ammonia. They include a\u00a0$10\u202fbillion\u00a0commitment from Chinese firm\u00a0Ming Yang Smart Energy Group\u00a0for green ammonia and electrical equipment manufacturing,\u00a0$2\u202fbillion\u00a0for a manufacturing zone investment, and additional hundreds of millions for solar, mining and real estate projects.
