Remittances totaled TND\u202f2.13\u202fbillion (around\u202f$630\u202fmillion) and tourism revenues reached TND\u202f1.45\u202fbillion (around\u202f$428\u202fmillion), up 6.5\u202f% and 4.6\u202f% year\u2011on\u2011year, according to BCT data. Combined, these flows contributed TND\u202f3.58\u202fbillion (around\u202f$1.06\u202fbillion) in the first quarter, compared with 3.39\u202fbillion a year earlier, highlighting their key role in supplying foreign exchange and supporting Tunisia\u2019s public finances amid global economic challenges.
