Samsung Electronics is adopting Google Cloud’s enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) service, “Gemini Enterprise.”
Google Cloud said on the 13th that it will expand its strategic cooperation with Samsung Electronics to provide Gemini Enterprise to employees in Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) division worldwide. Google Cloud said the deal is the largest-ever adoption of Gemini Enterprise agentic AI in the South Korean market.
Employees in Samsung Electronics’ DX division will use the Gemini Enterprise app as an intelligence-based conversational collaboration space. Gemini Enterprise goes beyond a simple chatbot, functioning as a centralized gateway that connects fragmented internal systems. Employees can search and synthesize various data across the organization in real time for their work, shifting from tasks centered on simple data searches to a guided, proactive problem-solving approach.
Furthermore, Samsung Electronics plans to introduce customized multi-step AI agents that autonomously manage complex corporate workflows. Google Cloud intends to build a data environment and operating system specialized for multi-step AI agents.
The two companies also set a goal of “company-wide AI democratization,” enabling not only developers but also non-developer staff to build AI agents directly. Google Cloud plans to support personnel in operational departments such as human resources and marketing so they can build customized AI agents optimized for their work using a no-code method.
Ruth Sun, president of Google Cloud Korea, said, “True work innovation in the agentic era becomes possible when we move beyond simple productivity tools to a stage of deep operational intelligence.” She added, “Gemini Enterprise will be a starting point for Samsung Electronics to enter enterprise AI, as well as a secure foundation that accelerates business innovation on a global scale.”
