NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Nashville man was arrested this week for posting numerous sexual images depicting children online over the course of several months.
An arrest affidavit from the Metro Nashville Police Department states that cyber crimes detectives were tipped off to Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM) posting from a certain xAI account.
Cyber detectives traced more than 40 sexual images of “infant-aged” girls to the account, whose username was “Jerry Dub,” from September 2025 to March 2026, according to the affidavit.
The investigation eventually revealed the account’s originating address and the user’s phone number, the affidavit states. Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence in Bellevue on Monday, April 20, and 47-year-old Jerry Dubose was taken into custody.
Police said that Dubose utilized Grok AI to generate images of child sex abuse.
The report states that Dubose’s bedroom and bathroom matched the background of the images posted on the xAI account.
Dubose is charged with the sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains in jail on a $25,000 bond.
MNPD reported that Dubose was convicted in 2000 of indecent exposure involving two female victims, ages 10 and 4.
