Pixel 11 with Gemini
In a first look at the lineup, Mashable’s video segment with CNET Senior Technology Reporter Abrar Al-Heeti tests “five upcoming capabilities designed to make finding and sharing information easier.”
9to5GoogleThe Pixel 11 series is built around Google’s Tensor G6 chip, and 9to5Google says the phones “pack an outfit of smart features that Google says make the Pixel 11 Pro a more useful tool than any model before it.”
9to5Google also describes Gemini as an “agentic model,” saying the new Pixel lineup will be able to do things like “order groceries or book rides with Gemini.”
HiLight, Magic Capture
On the hardware side, 9to5Google says the Pixel 11 Pro models get “HiLight,” a rear LED feature that changes the color of the rear LED based on incoming notifications.
9to5Google adds that incoming calls from favorite contacts and Gemini callups will summon the tiny ring light with a “gentle glow,” as Google puts it.
For photography, Google introduced Magic Capture, and 9to5Google says it lets users “offload the shooting to the Pixel by simply aiming.”
The Santa Cruz Sentinel, via AP Technology Writer Barbara Ortutay, describes Magic Capture as a one-tap workflow, saying it “automatically takes a series of photos and video with a single tap of the shutter button.”
Prices, shipping, and trackers
Pricing and availability varied across outlets, with Santa Cruz Sentinel saying U.S. customers can order the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL starting at $900, $1,100 and $1,300, respectively, and that the Pixel Pro Fold starts at $1,900.

The same AP report says Google eliminated the 128 gigabyte Pixel 11, and it also says the company “double[d] the previous storage size, starting at 256 gigabytes.”
Google also introduced Pixel Tag as a new tracking device, and Santa Cruz Sentinel reports it will cost $30 for one or $100 for a four-pack and is compatible with phones running Android 9 or higher.
In a separate local report, Brief IA says Pixel Tag is “sold at $29 for one unit or $99 for a four-pack,” and it adds that users can locate the tag using the Find Hub app similar to Apple’s Find My.
