Artificial intelligence agents are creating a new insider risk problem because they can access CRM platforms, enterprise tools and sensitive data, operate at machine speed, and change behavior without predictable patterns, said Amir Boldo, co-founder and chief product and technology officer at Above Security.

Traditional tools built for human behavior can’t keep pace with non-deterministic agents – a single prompt change can make a baseline meaningless. “They [AI agents] are just another identity, and the solution is the same. You need continuous investigation in order to understand if something deviates and becomes a risk,” Boldo said.

That continuous approach also changes the analyst’s role. AI can correlate activity across weeks or months and assemble timelines, context and intent, helping security teams focus on judgment and response instead of sifting through logs.
