Claude AI has achieved the highest user satisfaction score among AI tools, securing a net score of 56.2, significantly ahead of Gemini’s score of 46.5. This information comes from a recent YouGov survey that assessed user satisfaction with various AI tools and assistants. ChatGPT followed closely with a score of 46.0, while Grok and Siri ranked at the bottom of the satisfaction ratings.
The survey results, collected over a five-month period from March 1 to July 31, 2026, reveal that Claude AI not only excels among current users but is also well-regarded by former users. This indicates that competing tools may face challenges in improving their public perception. Microsoft’s Copilot and Amazon’s Alexa occupied middle positions in the rankings, suggesting a level of dissatisfaction that does not align with the scale of the companies behind them.
Claude’s strong performance in the survey was corroborated by YouGov’s two sets of data: the “Top 10 AI assistants by Satisfaction among current and former users” and the “AI assistant Satisfaction: current vs. former users.” Claude’s score of 56.2 stands out in contrast to Gemini’s 46.5 and ChatGPT’s 46.0. Grok and Siri’s low rankings were particularly surprising, as respondents indicated significant dissatisfaction with these tools.

The survey also analyzed the differences in satisfaction between current and former users. Claude received the highest satisfaction score among former users, showcasing its ability to deliver usable results. In contrast, the report highlighted dramatic disparities for ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Grok, with ChatGPT showing a 63.7-point difference between current and former user satisfaction. Grok’s former user score was especially low, at -4.7.
YouGov’s data was gathered using its BrandIndex tracking system, which engages live users with targeted questions about specific topics. The survey focused on users in the UK, providing insights into how different AI tools are perceived in terms of satisfaction and usability. The findings suggest that Claude AI’s reputation among both current and former users positions it favorably compared to its competitors.
