TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State University is one of 35 schools where Google Gemini is hosting a pop-up event. With finals week just around the corner, the tech platform is providing resources for studying.
Students gathered outside the Ogelsby Student Union Wednesday for a demonstration showing how to use the technology to condense notes and record sessions.
Leaders with Google say AI can help improve study habits when used responsibly.

Paige Miller, a student at FSU, says she was surprised by how useful the program can be.
“I didn’t know they could upload questions and have them walk you through steps, because that’s probably the biggest issue I have when I’m not able to find a teacher,” she says. “So if I could get that and it works pretty consistently, I would love to use that.”
FSU does allow students to use AI technology within university guidelines outlined by professors.
